Autumn Lake

The focal for this necklace is a bright blue lampwork lentil bead by UK glass artist Julie Fountain of Lush Lampwork; I love the effect of the the glass frit pattern onJulie's beads, and in this case it reminds me of leaves floating on a blue lake. I have topped the focal with a cluster of hessionite garnets and pale green prehnites which echo the frit colours.
The focal is wired on sterling and fine silver, and hangs on a chain featuring AA grade Lapis lazuli beads. The chain is approx. 18" long and is finished with a sterling silver carabiner clasp.
